This review describes “Solution Dropping Technique” as a new type of crystal growth method, which mimics a stalagmite growthin nature. We have synthesized various crystals such as calcite, ADP-KDP, alum and TGS-TGSP by this solution dropping technique,and evaluated some chemical and physical properties.
