The analysis will be done from the viewpoint of ecology. This viewpoint is essential in considering how those writers faced the endangered nature on the earth. Each of them was a forerunner in his time to warn against it,uslng it as the main theme of their works. Both emphasized the importance of catching vital force which is latent in nature. Furthermore, this paper verifies that both writers were critical of the traditional English landscape gardens as an opposition to real nature. Finally, an assumption will be confirmed that Pan may still be found in the present time so long as people realize the nature of nature., application/pdf}, pages = {77--88}, title = {ロレンス・ファウルズ・自然―エコロジーの観点から二人のイギリス人作家を読む}, volume = {25}, year = {2007}, yomi = {ウイックス, イズミ} }
