It must be continued for future. However they are now in face of a severe crisis for their survival. It is necessary to improve the productivity of the brick and develop new brick with better quality in order to expand the business and continue to protect the cultural heritage and their life. Since there are no technology and equipment for improvement in this district, a support is vitally necessary for this traditional brick sector as a regional improvement of this town. From this reason, we executed a technical lecture and a training to produce un? red brick, and also investigated raw material to use this new technique, under supporting JICA.
