The manufacturers of traditional brick in Tozeur Tunisia are obliged to very poor and painful life with the production process architectural culture of the town. It must be continued for future. However they are now in face of a severe crisis for their survival. It is necessary to improve the productivity of the brick and develop new brick with better quality in order to expand the business and continue to protect the cultural heritage and their life. Since there are no technology and equipment for improvement in this district, a support is vitally necessary for this traditional brick sector as a regional improvement of this town. From this reason, we executed a technical lecture and a training to produce un? red brick, and also investigated raw material to use this new technique, under supporting JICA. The impact of the project implementation as follows. 1.Technological support with the pilot test equipment and training the operation and maintenance method of the machine. 2.Improvement brick productivity and incomes for manufacturers. 3.Promotion and realization of the new industrialized manufacturing of traditional brick and un? red brick. 4.Protection of historical and cultural heritage and protection of environment by eliminating emission of exhaust black smoke. 5.Introduction an advanced brick technology and globalization of the brick market.
